Butterfly Valves
Flapcon FBV Series soft-seal butterfly valves provide full sealing in both directions under 16 bar pressure. Manufactured with a single-piece body, FBV butterfly valves provide high flow permeability thanks to their double-stem disc design.
The valves' product pressure class and operating capability in high-flow applications have been improved. Their large-pitch shaft diameters, channel-recessed seal structure, and shaft housings with increased adherence make them ideal for use with actuators.
Thanks to their high-necked, one-piece body design, the valves can be isolated from external factors. The body is highly resistant to external factors thanks to the powder-coated epoxy oven-painted coating.
Thanks to the EN ISO5211 actuator flange, it is compatible with arm, gearbox, pneumatic, electric and hydraulic actuator couplings.
Despite temperature and fluid variables, it is manufactured with BUNA-N, EPDM-HT, FKM, SBR, CARBO, PU etc. seal options as well as CF8, CF8M, 1.4469, C95400, C95800, GGG-40+Nylon11, GGG-40+EPDM-HT/NBR coated discs according to fluid properties.

EN ISO 5211 Top Flange
The actuator mounting flange, manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 5211, ensures easy actuator installation. The upper shaft is manufactured as a standard square with a 45° position. However, upon request, it can be manufactured with a Double-D or wedge connection. Intermediate brackets are also available for custom designs.

Blow-Proof System
Valves are kept safe by the explosion-proof ring system located at the top center of the actuator. This system prevents potential explosions and fluid spray, ensuring shaft sealing.

Zodiac System
R-PTFE or bronze bushings provide triple-centered bearings, preventing joint movement along the xy-axis. This prevents shaft twisting and breakage, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Twin Shaft
The dual shaft structure, manufactured from high-thickness stainless steel, eliminates potential problems such as twisting, breakage, etc. The shaft-to-disc connection is made with a high-adherence square fit system. This prevents wear and tear in the valve-to-disc housings.

Double Shaft Connection Valve
Twin-shaft-structured valves, also known as slim discs, in sizes DN50 to DN300 offer high KV permeability thanks to the cavities in their midsection. Furthermore, for diameters DN350 and larger, even though the discs appear to have a single shaft, they contain a high-thickness dual shaft.

Elastomer Seal
Soft elastomer seals with a channeled back structure do not move in the xy axis thanks to the channel in their rear structure and the dovetail collar slots placed inside the body.

Body
The bodies are manufactured from GGG-40.3 ductile iron using an automated molding and casting system. After casting, the bodies are prepared using a sandblasting system and coated with 200-250 micron powder epoxy paint. Manufactured on high-precision CNC machines, the bodies are also manufactured from CF8 and CF8M stainless steel.

HIGH COMPRESSIVE RESISTANCE
Perfect Sealing Under 25 Bar Working Pressure
Flapcon FBV Series vulcanized seal butterfly valves provide full sealing under 25 bar-g operating pressure thanks to the reinforced AISI 431/17-4PH one-piece and pin shaft design and vulcanized (channeled) elastomer seal designed for operation under 25 bar pressure.
Rigid body design. Manufactured from GGG-40 ductile iron, the body is vulcanized with a gasket. This makes it compatible with vacuum resistance of 760 mm/hg.
Wafer models are compatible with PN10/16/25 & ANSI Class 150/300 standards. Lug models can be custom manufactured according to the specified flange hole axes.
The bronze bushing system keeps the shaft structure balanced. It has an extra resistance to line variations such as sudden knocks and other impacts.
Wafer models are manufactured in diameters between DN50~300, and Lug models are manufactured in diameters between DN50~600.

HIGH CORROSION RESISTANCE AND LONG LIFE
PTFE/PFA LINED CHEMICAL BUTTERFLY VALVES
Flapcon FBV15/25 Series butterfly valves are designed to provide reliable performance and resistance to aggressive chemicals with a variety of material options.
Models with coated valves are equipped with a minimum 3.00 mm thick PTFE/PFA coating on the thinnest edge. The discs beneath the coating surface have holes at various points. These holes allow the PTFE/PFA material to adhere better to the surface. Post-production gap tests are conducted at 20,000 volts.
The body is manufactured as a standard two-piece from ASTM A216 WCB carbon steel and the surface is coated with powder epoxy oven paint. Stainless steel body options such as CF8, CF8M, and others are also available.
Lined valves are lined with PTFE as standard for diameters DN40~300 and PFA for diameters DN350~600.
It has a welded construction with a shaft valve. Additionally, shaft sealing is provided by a plate spring system located at the top and bottom centers.
